NEWTOP is organizing the annual "Plastic Free July" event, and colleagues from various departments of the company are actively registering to participate, willing to make their own contributions to environmental protection. Everyone is led by the company to the beautiful foot of Mount Shaxi to carry out cleaning activities for the garbage inside and outside the park.
When we first arrived at the park, we found various types of mineral water bottles and plastic waste scattered underground. Colleagues took out prepared tools and picked up the garbage one by one into garbage bags, cleaning from the entrance all the way to every corner of the park, big and small.
Through this public welfare activity, we found that many plastic waste items did not receive our attention, such as some hidden plastic bottles falling into the sewer of the park. These plastic bottles blocked the waterway, causing water accumulation on rainy days and emitting an unpleasant odor. We picked them up one by one with iron pliers and placed them in designated garbage cleaning points. Although our strength was insignificant, looking back at the Shaxi Mountain Park, there were figures of our labor everywhere.
Starting from ourselves, starting now, and investing in environmental protection activities, this should be vigorously advocated. Enhancing awareness of environmental protection and reducing the use of plastic products, correctly classifying them when discarded, and contributing to the environmental protection of beautiful neighborhoods/towns should not only be slogans, but also something we should start with in our daily lives.
